Two whistleblowers have stated that children at the Fort Bliss migrant shelter were treated inhumanely by Department of Health and Human Services contractors and senior federal employee managers. Allegedly, the HHS instructed them to downplay the number of COVID infections suffered by children at the facility.
The whistleblowers stated, “Covid was widespread among children and eventually spread to many employees. Hundreds of children contracted Covid in the overcrowded conditions. Adequate masks were not consistently provided to children, nor was their use consistently enforced.”
